Womens Health Service starting September 2009.

As our ongoing commitment to providing the best service to our clients we are looking forward to addressing womens health and incontinence issues at clinic. The service will be provided by a chartered physiotherapist trained specifically in this role and as a result you can be reassured that the treatment you are receiving is both evidence based and effective.

We have aquired a new piece of equipment especially for this service, the MYO200. This is a clinical biofeedback EMG machine which allows more for effective treatment, and maps your progress during treatment.

Hi, this is my first ever blog! The aim is to provide clients with up to date information about the clinic services and special offers available as well as some general information and education about MSK conditions. I hope it provides some added interest for you.

The practice has now been up and running for 18 months and has grown steadily in that time.. I would really like to extend a BIG thank you to all those clients who have come to the clinic and supported us in these early days. Also to those who have gone out and recommended Morecambe Bay Physiotherapy to your friends and family, or even to strangers. We really appreciate the good feedback we are getting. It makes us all feel as though we are doing something right!!

Anna Child has just been on an advanced pilates course. She has come back all fired up and is looking forward to incorporating this new found knowledge into the pilates sessions on a Monday evening. For those of you who are committed sportsmen and women who are perhaps looking for a bit of a change to your regular training regime and want a new challenge perhaps you should give us a call. it could save you from a few injuries and improve your core strength too. Remember PILATES, IT'S NOT JUST FOR GIRLS!!
